I’m Lauren, a book blogger from the UK and a History Graduate with plans to travel the world one day. I’m also a self-confessed bookdragon (not bookworm lol) who’s entire life is practically consumed by books, sushi, noodles, tea and Starbucks.
My great literature loves are John Keats, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, etc. I love poetry and translated fiction. Poetry holds and will always hold a special place in my heart.
I hope you enjoy x

Thank you so much for visiting my page! You totally had me on-boarded at the Medieval History tab. I am a history buff myself, though lately, I have not read as many histories as I would like, but may be with your blog and books, I will get the momentum to start reading them again! Happy Reading!

Your welcome 🙂 I’m glad you like the Medieval History tab on my blog. I hope you do find a book through this tab that you would like to read and if you do I would love to hear what you think about it! I will hopefully be adding more book reviews to the new page soon 🙂

Hi Lauren,
I am author of “Queenship in England 1308-1485”, recently published by MadeGlobal, and I was wondering whether you might be interested in reading and reviewing it? Let me know what you think.
Best wishes,

Hi Lauren, that’s great – thank you so much for agreeing to read and review it. You might have to buy a copy of it but it might be worth contacting my publishers and seeing if they can provide you with a review copy.
Best wishes,
Conor

I like that you made me question if Harry Potter was a genre in and of itself – it seems to be the case! It is so widely acclaimed 🙂 I preferred the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice also – and Pride and Prejudice is one of my all time favourite books! Your blog is wonderfully quaint!
