What was the last book you read?
Almond by Won-Pyung Soon and Translated by Sandy Joosun Lee. I absolutely adored this book and have idea for a Bookstagram or blog post that I’m hoping to work on soon. So you definitely will hear more about this one shortly.
Why did you pick this book?
There was a number of reasons why I picked this book – 1. I absolutely adore Korean Literature, 2. It was a favourite of Namjoon and Yoongi and I trust my boys with any recommendation to be honest I trust them on anything ππππ₯°π€π, 3. The premise of this book intrigued me so much and the main character Yunjae did too because when I read the back of the book Yunjae reminded me of two different Kdrama characters I love and also one Cdrama character (Post about this hopefully coming soon on my Bookstagram).
How much time do you think you’ll take to finish your current read?
I’m currently reading two books. Shirley by Charlotte Bronte which is a buddy read so we are reading so many chapters a day – So we will be finishing this one in the next few days. The second book I’m reading is Wolfsong by TJ. Klune which I’m hoping to finish in the next few days.
What genre would you like to read next?
This might be cheating but I read multiple books at a time so my next few books will probably fit in the genres of classics, fantasy and magical realism/literary fiction.
What would you like to pick: a long read or a short read?
Like I said in my previous answer I tend to read multiple books at a time so my next few picks will most probably be a mix of both long and short reads.
Mention some books you’re eyeing?
- Before the Coffee gets Cold: Tales from the Cafe – Toshikazu Kawaguchi
- Darkdawn – Jay Kristoff
- Daughter of Redwinter – Ed McDonald
- Ruth – Elizabeth Gaskell
- Barchester Towers – Anthony Trollope
I’m going to tag a few people however, if you see this tag and would like to do it on your blog then consider yourself tagged βΊοΈπ€
