I’m not sure who created this tag but if you do please let me know in the comments and I will add credits. I found this tag on Elaine’s blog.
Do you keep a list of the books you have read?
Yes I do. I keep track of the books I have read on Goodreads and I also keep track of them in my bullet journal.
If you record statistics, what statistics do your record?
I’m a complete nerd when it comes to book statistics and yes I do record them. At the end of the year I always do a big round up of my bookish statistics for the year such as: total number of pages read, average overall star rating, etc.
Do you give star ratings for books and If so, what do you score books out of and how do you come about this score?
Yes I do give star ratings. I rate my books out of 5 stars just like Goodreads as I found it easier to do it this way. My rating is based on my enjoyment of the book and my experience when reading it.
Do you review books?
Yes I do review books. Whilst I don’t review every book I read, the ones I do are normally reviewed either here on my book blog, my bookstagram or Goodreads.
Where do you put your finished books?
Once I have finished reading a book if it’s one I’m going to keep it will go back on my bookshelves. If its a book that I have decided not to keep then I either, see if my mum would like it, sale it or donate it to charity.
Do you have any other rituals for when you have finished a book?
I suppose it depends on the book. But I normally come up with a photo idea for bookstagram and start working on my review notes. I also sometimes discuss the book with a friend or my mum. I also normally document it in my bullet journal.
